Asian Heritage Month at CRC 40 Oaks

Asian Heritage Month came to CRC 40 Oaks on May 22.

Along with S.E.A.S (Support Enhance Access Service) Centre and the CSTN (Chinese Seniors Tenant Network), CRC co-hosted an event that took place in the Rogers Family Room and Worship Space during the community meal program.

Activities included performances of Chinese song & dance, painting and calligraphy, paper cutting and handicrafts.

Half of the participants and performers travelled from a senior’s building located in the Don Mills/Eglinton area.

Everyone had a very good time and enjoyed the performances, activities, meal and social interaction.
