HOW YOU CAN HELP
Items to Donate

The CRC also relies on donations of goods to assist marginalized adults and families who are living at or below the poverty line and having difficulty maintaining a healthy life style.

Some of our participants are starting out with nothing but the clothes they have on their backs. CRC assists by giving them the things they need to help strengthen their ability to survive on a low budget. All of the items we received are given out freely and are not sold.

We ask for specific donations that meet the needs of our participants.

Our greatest need is for seasonal street clothing like jeans, running shoes, belts, T-shirts, no iron-shirts, jackets, sweaters, new underwear and socks, and construction boots. Personal hygiene products such as deodorants, toothbrush and toothpaste and razors, along with women’s sanitary items are also needed. For housing items, we accept towels, cutlery, coffee pots, furniture, bedding, etc.

We do not accept fashion clothing, jewellery or oversized housing items. We also do not take children’s’ items.

Feel free to pass our current list of needed items to your family, friends and neighbours.

The items we collect must meet the needs of the requests. If your donations are not on the list, please contact us first. Please be specific about what you have to offer, dimensions, etc.

Please ensure that your donations are practical, basic, clean, and usable as is. Ask yourself the questions –“Would I give this to my own family?”

Everything you donate goes directly to a person or family and is greatly appreciated!
